HT1 AT A GLANCE...

The HT1 is the first model of our new Hyper Trail Truck Series and styled with a 12-spoke flow formed design. The HyperTrail series brings all of the performance benefits that Konig Flow Formed wheels are known for in the motorsport world and offers applications for on and offroad Trucks, Jeeps and SUVs. Every HyperTrail wheel is constructed by utilizing FLOW FORMING TECHNOLOGY, is 2500 lbs load rated, comes with a increased thickness rear flange for extra rigidity, and has knurled bead seats to prevent tire slippage. The HT1 has a unique styled cap perch that allows the wheel to look finish if you choose to run the wheel without the center cap. The choice is yours, however, each wheel comes with the pictured flat, plastic pop-in center cap.

Flow Formed

Flow Formed

Is one of the most advanced manufacturing technologies to enter the wheel industry. Flow Forming Technology involves the application of pressure to the inner barrel of the wheel, while spinning and after it has been casted. This process stretches and compresses the aluminum, which increases tensile strength. In this respect the process shares similar properties to those found in the forging process. The final product is lighter, stronger, has increased tensile strength and elongation, as well as a much greater shock resistance compared to traditional cast wheels.

FEA Analysis

FEA Analysis

Utilizing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and advanced engineering simulation software we push every wheel design through countless variations of impact, bending and stress, simulations to optimize wheel weight, increase strength and rigidity and reinforce high-stress areas. FEA allows us to do hundreds of minor adjustments and simulations before we even get to the physical tests.

The Final Product

The Final Product

Compared to traditional cast truck wheels, these innovative manufacturing processes boast a significant reduction in weight while improving overall strength. Think improved acceleration, better handling, and even sharper braking thanks to the reduced rotating mass. Every pound counts, especially when it's unsprung weight hanging off your axles.
